: If the "problem" the person has with lying was a fear than it would be a "phobia" of lies. I know I have that problem -- I fucking hate liars.
: And if the person couldn't stop from lying he would be called a pathological liar.
: To have a problem and be called a maniac you would have to hate liars so much that you ran them down with your car. Then you would be a maniac. I hate liars but not that much.
: My question for you is what kind of a liar are you?

: : What is called when someone has a problem with lying? A habitual lier. Is it a phobia or a maniac?
There are people who have told so many lies there whole life long, that they actually feel and act guilty whenever they, accidentally, tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. These people are called compulsive liars. They are able to fool lie detectors, one BIG reason why lie detector results may not be used in a court of law.
