Has anyone been in this position? My wife of 16 years
lies to me constantly about situations and finances. She has been to prison for lying to her probation officer on a bad check rap. It is to the point when I can't tell she is lying. Case in point, she opened up a checking account and told me she just needed for her employer to direct deposit her paycheck into it. I told her she had better not write any checks, as it turns out, she got checks and they bounced. When her deal with prison was over with, I decided I needed to keep a tight wrap on the finances, which I do. It is so embarressing that she does this. She won't any pay on any accounts she charges on, lies to collection agencies that she is sending money, she never does. In the past we lost vehicles and kicked out of rentals because of this problem. I think about divorcing her but, I can't think of the thought of seeing my kids on occassion. She is a good person, wife, and mother, it is just this lying. I am on my wits end. She even managed to get my 16 year old daughter to write her a check out, and my daughter didn'y have the funds to cover it. What do I do? She evidently didn't learn a lesson in prison, can anyone give some advice?
