It's good to see you Ezek. No I don't believe 'humans perform miracles' per say. I believe that God has something to do with it. Personally, I do think that the sun will rise is a terrific analogy. It's something most of us expect daily, yet others point to with wonder and say "See, it's a miracle!". If that's the case, I tend to lean towards your reasoning, it's a miracle that has occured every day since we were born, so how does that make it stand apart?
An everyday occurance does not a 'miracle' make, in my opinion.
I read some of Hume's essays. Do you have any specific suggestions?

I'm glad you can seperate the evangelists from the true believers. They are in it for the money/fame/glory (for the most part..I do like Billy Graham).
Most believers are in this for the long run. No fame or glory there. As for money...haha..nope.
