: : I don't doubt there is a cause for existence, what i doubt is if that 'cause for all'
: : choose the people from Israel above everyone else or if hesheit wants everyone to sing and revere himherit.
: : I would really like to discuss this because this looks interesting, but I'm pretty sure I don't understand what you mean completely. Could you help me?
: Ok letīs make the beginning statement clearer. I don't doubt there was something or someone who created existance, somehow it had to begin in the first place, that's undeniable, according to the most basic laws of physics there is always a cause, that is the 'First Cause' statement that makes the idea of God plausible. I Don't doubt there was a First Cause, I don't know if that cause was sentient, sentient enough to have feelings and thoughts (and children). Letīs say, for the purpose of the following statement, that that first cause is an entity we may call God. Now, my second idea is: If God exists why must he choose the people from Israel (Or for that matter, any other particular people) or ask for reverence and praise?
You ask a very good question. And one that has been asked throughout the history of Christianity. There has been debate after debate after debate for thousands of years.
In fact I ask myself think that question all of the time. The Israelites continue to screw up and yet God holds them as His people. They shame Him. They disobey Him. They dishonor Him.
So, what is so special about them?
I do not know. I do know that I am to obey God. I also know that currently we are NOT in the age of Israel. We are in the age of the Gentile. Namely, for the time being, the Israelites are out of favor with God. Biblically, we are told that there will be a time where the Israelites will have their time on Earth, but not now.
As I reread your question, and also my answer, I know I have not satisfactorily given a good response.
I can't question the mind of God. I just can't. I'm not wise enough. I doubt any man is.
I hope this answers at least somethings and I'm sorry for what it doesn't,
