If you study the history of religion, you'll see that Wicca and other pagan religions existed before Christianity. The Bible is just one view of how humanity came to be and who the Divine One is.
There are a lot of misconceptions about Wicca. If you really give half a damn about finding out more, there are many great books you can read on the subject. My favorite so far has been Witchcraft from the Inside, by Raymond Buckland. In the first 4 or 5 chapters, it describes the beginnings of magick and religious ritual. It also talks about the beginnings of Christianity in a very eye-opening way.
There are many religions out there. For you to say "Where in the bible does God say..." sounds really narrow minded.
I respect each person's right to believe in the religion they choose. I hope people respect mine.
Yes, I believe in God. And Goddess.
: HUH? Where in the bible does God say there is more than one God -- Yes, I know He says something about Thou Shall have no gods before me but where earlier than that, in Genesis does he say that -- I'm curious.
: I'm interested in learning more about Wicca -- I'm very ignorant on the topic -- what are the rituals like. They don't sacrifice animals do they?

: : If most people believe in some higher being with all this power, then why is so hard for people to believe all that same energy could just as easily come from the earth, water, and all of nature, animals, and us humans as well. And I am certain my explaination of "why does bad things happen to us?" is far better and makes more sense than "God" is just testing our fate. And why can't there be more than one god. when adam and eve ate from the forbidden fruit. God said they must not be allowed to eat from the fruit of knowledge or they will be one of us. us . to me says more than one.
