Big Liar

Join the club. Just about everybody is a big liar. You're selfish and self centered. Vain and egotistical. You usually think: what can I get out of this, before you think, how can I be helpful. But what's the big deal, just about everyone else out there is doing the same damn thing.

You can actually keep a relationship going this way for a few years. Sometimes over ten but then things start to get a little bumpy. Your partner might want more attention than you feel like giving them. And while you believe you have loved them a lot all this time, you have already done so much for them that, well, how dare they ask anything more of you?

You are a legend in your own mind and everyone better just get in line and get ready to do it your way or they can hit the highway. You usually have a lover and a best friend and you complain about them both. The good news is that while you lie like the dickens to your lover, you do not lie too much to your best friend. Your best friend may actually be acting as your moral compass. Your own moral compass is spinning as wildly as if you had been lost in the bermuda triangle for your whole life.

The trouble is that even though you burn bridges pretty infrequently, sooner or later the lies are going to catch up with you and even your best friend will see through you.

Well, you never really liked them anyway. And about your ex-lover, what an asshole, you're better off without them. Aren't you? .
